High Country RV mobile service vehicle working on an RV near Tempe, Arizona

Tempe is dense, urban, and short on RV parking — so most of the rigs we service here live in storage lots.

East Valley

Tempe is the most built-out city we serve. Lots are small, HOAs are common, and street parking for a 34-foot fifth wheel is generally not happening. As a result, most Tempe owners store their RV at a facility nearby and see it only when a trip is coming up.

That means our work here is mostly scheduled rather than urgent: pre-trip inspections, seasonal service, appliance repair, accessory installation, and getting a rig that has sat in extreme heat ready to be lived in again. Emergency calls tend to come from owners who discovered a problem while loading.

Access is the main planning factor. We are used to working in tight storage spaces and narrow driveways, but some jobs need room around the rig — roof work especially. Tell us where the RV actually sits when you call and we will tell you whether the visit works as-is.

On location

Typical Tempe calls

Storage lot service

Most Tempe work happens at the facility, with its permission.

Tight driveway visits

Short-term parking at the house for a scheduled repair.

Pre-trip inspections

The core service for an owner whose rig only comes out for trips.

Appliance and component repair

Refrigerators, water heaters, furnaces, and controls.

Accessory installation

Upgrades fitted while the rig is accessible.

Post-storage wake-ups

Batteries, water systems, and cooling after months of valley heat.

Storage-lot service, done properly

Working in a storage lot has real constraints: no shore power at many spaces, no water, limited room between rigs, and gate hours. We plan for those — bringing power where needed, sequencing work that requires hookups, and coordinating access with the facility.

What we will not do is pretend a job can be done well in a space that cannot accommodate it. If your rig needs to be somewhere with more room, we will say so before the appointment rather than after.

Local conditions

Local conditions to plan for

Extreme summer heat with long storage periods
Very limited parking and access space
HOA and city restrictions on residential RV parking
Urban dust and construction grit
Batteries and tires aging without any use
Monsoon storms hitting sun-damaged sealant
“Bryon was excellent with communication, letting me know I can come in for service sooner than scheduled. He redid my entire PVC sewage line from tank to valve and saved me money by reusing undamaged parts. I totally recommend High Country RV.”
