I-40 corridor

MobileRVRepairinBellemont

Bellemont sits directly between our base in Williams and our busiest market in Flagstaff, right on I-40.

Northern Arizona

Bellemont is small, high, and windy — around 7,100 feet on the I-40 corridor west of Flagstaff. For RV owners that combination matters: this is one of the coldest, breeziest spots we regularly service, and it is also a natural stopping point for travelers crossing Northern Arizona.

Because it sits between Williams and Flagstaff, Bellemont is easy for us to reach on almost any route we are already driving. Interstate travelers with a sudden problem, local owners with rigs parked at home or in storage, and campers using the nearby forest all fall inside normal coverage.

The local mix of work leans toward wind and cold: awnings damaged by gusts, roof edges and sealant working loose, furnaces and propane systems asked to perform in genuine cold, and freeze protection for anything holding water.

On location

Typical Bellemont calls

I-40 breakdowns and stops

Travelers who pull off with a house-system problem rather than an engine one.

Local homes and storage

Rigs kept at property or in lots along the corridor.

Forest camping nearby

Dispersed and developed sites in the surrounding national forest, where access allows.

Wind damage repair

Awnings, toppers, vent covers, and roof edge trim after a gusty stretch.

Cold-weather prep

Winterizing and furnace service ahead of an early freeze.

Generator service

Elevation here is unforgiving on a generator that has not been tuned or serviced.

Wind is the local specialty

Bellemont gusts catch owners off guard, particularly in spring. An awning left out during an afternoon of wind can bend an arm, tear fabric, or pull mounting hardware out of a sidewall — and the sidewall repair costs more than the awning.

We repair and adjust awnings, replace fabric and hardware, and check the roof edges and vent covers wind tends to lift first.

Local conditions

Local conditions to plan for

Some of the highest elevation and coldest nights in our service area
Persistent wind that punishes awnings and roof trim
Heavy snow events that load roofs and seals
Very short frost-free season for anything holding water
Interstate grime, road salt, and cinder spray
Thin air that reduces generator output
“Bryon was excellent with communication, letting me know I can come in for service sooner than scheduled. He redid my entire PVC sewage line from tank to valve and saved me money by reusing undamaged parts. I totally recommend High Country RV.”
